Stichting Philomela has organized Sounds of Somalia, a multimedial event with a focus on Somali culture, including music, poetry, food, and a screening of Africa is You and a debate afterwards with two of the makers, Linde Luijnenburg and Dennis Mulder, and Ali Ware, president of Federatie Somalische Associaties Nederland (Federation of Somali Associations in the Netherlands). The event will be in Dutch.
